Pre-Probiotics benefits for digestion in dogs and cats
Balanced gut microbiota
The Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 strain colonises the gut and helps restore flora after antibiotics, stress or diet changes.
Regular intestinal transit
Psyllium is a soluble fibre that regulates transit, relieving both constipation and soft stools by absorbing excess water.
Gut immune defence
Probiotics and FOS strengthen the intestinal barrier and stimulate the local immune response of the digestive tract.
Efficient digestion
FOS act as food for beneficial bacteria, boosting probiotic activity and healthy fermentation.
Complementary feed for companion animals. This is not a medicine and does not replace veterinary treatment.

How long does it take for transit to normalise?
For mild diarrhoea linked to stress or diet changes, improvement is usually visible within 3–5 days. To restore microbiota after antibiotics, at least 4 weeks is recommended.
Does it help with constipation?
Yes. Psyllium is a bifunctional fibre: in diarrhoea it absorbs excess water; in constipation it increases faecal bulk and facilitates transit.
Can it be taken long-term?
Yes, it is formulated for continuous use. The recommended cycle is 3 months, although it can be extended if your veterinarian advises.
Is it compatible with antibiotics?
It is recommended to separate antibiotic intake by at least 2 hours to prevent the antibiotic from destroying the probiotics before they reach the gut.
